Physical Therapists in Chelsea NYC
Built for People Who Want to Keep Moving
We're a team of physical therapists who built reCOOPERate to give active adults in West Village and greater NYC the one-on-one care they deserve. Every session is with a DPT who knows your sport, your training plan, and your goals. No aides, no distractions, no cookie-cutter programs.
Why We Started reCOOPERate
Traditional physical therapy wasn't built for people who train hard and move often. We saw too many runners, CrossFitters, and active professionals leave PT frustrated because they never got enough time with their provider, their care didn't fit their sport, or they were rushed through generic exercises that didn't address the root cause of their pain. We created reCOOPERate to change that by offering one-on-one DPT care with advanced manual therapy, data-informed testing, and programming designed around the demands of your life and your training. I have 10+ years experience in a network practice and the team has over 20+ years combined experience.
What You Can Expect From Every Session
These principles guide how we work with every patient, whether you're a marathoner recovering from a running injury or a postpartum patient building strength to return to exercise.
We Listen Before We Plan
Your first visit starts with understanding your goals, your training history, and what's been tried before. We build your plan around your life, not a template we pull from a file.
We Educate, Not Just Exercise
You'll leave every session understanding why you're doing each movement, how it connects to your goals, and what to watch for as you progress. Knowledge builds confidence.
We Build Resilience, Not Quick Fixes
We're not interested in temporarily masking pain. We focus on addressing the root cause, building capacity, and reducing your risk of future flare-ups so you stay consistent long-term. We believe that you should always live your best life.
We Progress With You
Your plan evolves as you improve. We reassess regularly, adjust based on how your body responds, and celebrate the wins along the way without locking you into a rigid protocol.
Meet Our Providers
Every member of our team is a licensed physical therapist with advanced training in manual therapy, movement assessment, and sport-specific rehab.
