Jason is the the absolute best physical therapist out there. I started working with him in 2018 after I had a cervical spine injury working as a bedside nurse. Not only did he get me back to baseline, but I felt stronger than I did before my injury and therefore better able to care for my patients. He also supported me both during my pregnancy and postpartum, when I experienced a lot of hip pain. He was able to relieve the pain, while also giving me at home exercises to ensure I was able to maintain on my own. Not only is he great at what he does, but he really cares about his clients.

Jason is the best in the business, plain and simple. You wont find someone more knowledgeable, kind, professional, and truly talented at what he does. I initially went to him for help treating my torn hip labrum, as I spent 3 months at Spear PT with no signs of improvement. As a marathoner, my goal was to get back to running as soon as possible and be able to start training for the 2023 NYCM. Within a month, Jason helped get me back on my feet and start running again. Aside from my labrum, I dealt with various injuries this training cycle, a strained soleus, a tight IT band causing outer knee pain, all of which Jason helped me treat. Thanks to Jason I was able to run the NYC Marathon this year and PR, running a 3:07 marathon, cutting 8 minutes off my time from the previous year. I truly trust Jason with my life. Not only will he help you with your injuries, but his methods will help bring you back to what you love doing better than ever! THANK YOU JASON!!!

I can't say enough good things about ReCOOPERate PT! I started seeing Sama after suffering from an Achilles injury this summer. Within a month of seeing her, she got me back to running pain free! Jason and his entire staff have helped me so much over the past few years. They are all kind, attentive, and so knowledgeable about what they do. Can't recommend enough--thank you Sama, Jason, and team!

Frequently Asked Questions

We know pelvic health can feel personal and vulnerable. Here's what patients in NYC ask us most.

What does a pelvic health evaluation include?

Your first visit includes a one-on-one evaluation with a DPT who has specialized pelvic health training. We review your symptoms, goals, and history. Internal examination is sometimes part of care, but it's always optional and explained fully beforehand.

Will I have to do internal exercises or exams?

Internal work can be helpful, but it's not always necessary. We always explain what we're doing and why, and we get your consent before proceeding. Many people start with external work and progress from there.

How long until I notice improvements?

It depends on your symptoms and goals. Many people notice improvements within a few sessions. After your evaluation, we'll give you a realistic timeline and a clear plan for what to expect.

Can I keep exercising while doing pelvic health PT?

Usually, yes. We build your plan around what you can do safely while we work on rebuilding strength and control. The goal is to keep you moving, not shut everything down.

Do you take insurance?

We're cash-based, which means we don't bill insurance directly. We provide superbills you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many patients use HSA or FSA cards.
