Pelvic Symptoms Shouldn't Keep You From What You Love

Leaking makes you avoid activities you enjoy

Jumping, running, or sneezing causes leaks. You're skipping workouts or holding back because you're worried about embarrassing symptoms.

Generic postpartum advice isn't working

You've tried online exercises and Kegels, but nothing's helping. You need personalized care tailored to your body and your goals.

You're nervous about making things worse

You want to get back to running or lifting, but you're scared you'll cause damage. You need a safe, progressive plan that rebuilds confidence.

Jason is the reason I am able to ENJOY running again! Before reCOOPERate, I was dealing with agonizing knee pain. I had gone from being able to race a half marathon, to only being able to run for about 30 seconds before feeling stabbing pain in my outer knee. Jason's expertise and and tailored rehab plans were essential to building the strength I needed–but so was his kind, warm, and encouraging approach that gave me the extra boost I needed to give myself grace, and work WITH my body rather than against it!! I've since been able to complete my first full marathon, and I was able to enjoy it the whole way, injury-free!

I was referred to Jason by a friend after a torn hip labrum diagnosis and little progress with another PT. I am a competitive marathoner who, before my injury, could handle 60+ mile weeks. When I first started working with Jason I couldn't even run 5 miles a week without feeling pain. Through manual therapy and a targeted strength training program, Jason gave me the treatment and tools to not only overcome my injury, but become a better runner overall. My pain has subsided to almost zero, I run my first 70 mile week ever during my most recent training cycle, and I just ran my first sub 3 hour marathon. I recommend Jason to anyone struggling with an injury!

Super effective PT that allowed me to safely and quickly return to my favorite activities after repeated ankle issues. Jason is extremely knowledgeable and was able to craft my treatment based on my target timeline and goals. Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions

We know pelvic health can feel personal and vulnerable. Here's what patients in NYC ask us most.

What does a pelvic health evaluation include?

Your first visit includes a one-on-one evaluation with a DPT who has specialized pelvic health training. We review your symptoms, goals, and history. Internal examination is sometimes part of care, but it's always optional and explained fully beforehand.

Will I have to do internal exercises or exams?

Internal work can be helpful, but it's not always necessary. We always explain what we're doing and why, and we get your consent before proceeding. Many people start with external work and progress from there.

How long until I notice improvements?

It depends on your symptoms and goals. Many people notice improvements within a few sessions. After your evaluation, we'll give you a realistic timeline and a clear plan for what to expect.

Can I keep exercising while doing pelvic health PT?

Usually, yes. We build your plan around what you can do safely while we work on rebuilding strength and control. The goal is to keep you moving, not shut everything down.

Do you take insurance?

We're cash-based, which means we don't bill insurance directly. We provide superbills you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many patients use HSA or FSA cards.
