Frequently Asked Questions

We know starting running PT in NYC can feel like a big step. Here's what runners ask us most.

Will I have to stop running completely?

Not usually. We build your plan around what you can do safely while we work on fixing the root issue. The goal is to keep you running, even if we need to adjust volume or intensity temporarily.

How long until I can get back to my full training plan?

It depends on your injury and how long it's been going on. After your evaluation, we'll give you a realistic timeline and a progressive return-to-run plan. Many runners notice improvements within a few weeks.

Do you work with people training for marathons or half marathons?

Yes. We help runners modify their training plans around injuries and build progressive return-to-run plans that align with race goals. If you're mid-plan, we'll work with your coach or adjust your schedule.

What happens during a gait analysis?

We analyze your running form using video and movement screens to identify patterns that may contribute to injury. We use this information to guide your rehab and strength work.

Do you take insurance?

We're cash-based, which means we don't bill insurance directly. We provide superbills you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many runners use HSA or FSA cards.
