Frequently Asked Questions

We know sports injuries are frustrating. Here's what athletes in New York ask us most.

Will I have to stop competing completely?

Not necessarily. We build your plan around what you can do safely while addressing the root injury. For many athletes, modified training is part of the recovery process. We adjust load and intensity, not shut everything down.

How long until I can return to full competition?

It depends on the injury type, severity, and how long it's been going on. After your evaluation, we'll give you a realistic return-to-sport timeline with clear milestones. We use objective testing to guide those decisions.

Can you help with in-season injuries?

Yes. We work with athletes mid-season regularly. We help you manage the injury around your competition schedule, modify training to reduce risk, and build a plan that supports performance while you recover.

What does a sports PT evaluation include?

Your first visit includes a full one-on-one evaluation with a DPT, movement screening, and a review of your sport, training schedule, and goals. We'll identify what's driving the issue and build a clear plan for your return to competition.

Do you take insurance?

We're cash-based, which means we don't bill insurance directly. We provide superbills you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many athletes use HSA or FSA cards.
